All Began

Iron Fox Axes began in a firefighter’s garage in Phoenix, Arizona. He saw the need for a breach axe that could better attack the modern fireground. Up to that point, fire departments had been using axes that were adapted from woodland tools. He wanted an axe that was built to tear through anything. Iron Fox Axes was born.

We quickly realized that our breach axes are one of the most effective new tools for mechanical forcible entry and started seeing growth in other first responder disciplines like Special Weapons and Tactics. We know that the most effective instruments on the ground are the operators themselves and their potential is only limited by the tools at their disposal. At Iron Fox Axes, we have created tools that are as dynamic and powerful as the people who wield them.

Because we are still owned and operated by first responders, we are tuned in to our customers. Each customer is a brother or sister to us and we pride ourselves on making sure they are taken care of. We know our tools are going into someone’s hands that could potentially be saving a life. Ultimately, that is why we are here.
